The Interfaith Chinook Country Kitchen On-the Go has been designed to teach YOU how to replicate our kitchen programming at your facility geared to your specific client base.
After participating in one of our Train the Trainer workshops you will be able to tailor the programming to your group’s specific needs including language and literacy skills, and ability levels.
During the workshop, you will be given basic background knowledge of nutrition, as well as food and kitchen safety. This will assist you in teaching your group basic kitchen skills, safe food handling, menu planning, meal preparation, and more!
The Train the Trainer workshops are conducted in 2 parts:
Once you have completed the two part workshop you will be eligible to sign out the On-The Go supplies for use at your facility or our Co-op Community Kitchen. These are available at no cost to you.
