We are so humbled to be recognized by the City of Lethbridge for our Reconciliation efforts.
Though none of our activities would’ve been possible without the support of Indigenous partners and leaders that inspired us and hosted activities at our facility. We look forward to learning more, doing more, and engaging more community members in Reconciliation.
Interfaith Food Bank was ranked as a Top Charity and featured by MoneySense, a platform committed to helping Canadians manage their finances and make better choices for their donations!
In June 2013, we received the Excellence in Food Banking Award from Food Banks Canada which honored the top three food banks from across the country (small, medium and large) for their efforts in providing services beyond emergency food support.
Interfaith Food Bank has been honoured with several awards from the Better Business Bureau for business ethics over the last years. The BBB Torch Awards (as they are now called) highlight businesses that regularly utilize ethical, responsible and value-based business practices. We are very grateful to be nominated for this type of award. As a non-profit charity organization which relies on the generosity of community members, we know how important it is for our donors to trust that we operate responsibly. Without this support from the residents of Lethbridge and area we would not be able to continue with our programs and services. To receive such awards is a testament of the community’s acknowledgement of the value of our services to struggling community members.
