You will find an array of new, used and slightly bruised items for home, kitchen and personal use. With the assistance of volunteers, donated items are turned into funds that the food bank uses for food and operational costs —every purchase helps to support those in the community who need it most.

Why The Second Door?

  • We have new & used items sold at a “second price”
  • The slightly bruised are sold for a “second chance”
  • Items will be used for a “second time”
  • We are found behind the “second door” at Interfaith Food Bank.

HOW TO DONATE

New & gently used items can be brought to Donations and Administration at Interfaith Food Bank. Unfortunately, we do not pickup items.

Donations that are always welcome:

  • Dishes, Glassware and Cookware
  • Small Appliances such as toasters, blenders, coffee pots
  • Books and Trinkets

Unfortunately, due to limited space we are unable to accept:

  • Furniture
  • Clothing
  • Large Appliances
  • Electronics or computers
  • Textbooks, encyclopedias or periodicals

The Second Door is open to all paying customers, and operates weekdays only for the majority of the year, although we will open for additional hours on Saturdays during the Christmas season and occasionally for special events.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]

9:30AM—3:30 pm
Monday—Friday

Payment can be made by CASH OR DEBIT and purchases are NOT subject to GST. We do not barter or trade at any time.

All sales are FINAL, and all items are purchased “as is”.  All items are checked to ensure they are in good working condition before being set out for sale, thus our policies include:

  • No Exchanges
  • No Refunds
  • No Holds
  • No Exceptions
