Summer Program Garden Coordinator

Primary duties include planting, tending and harvesting the Interfaith Learning Garden; development, coordination and marketing of summer programs (eg. Interfaith Learning Garden tours, workshops and garden mentor program) and special events; assistance to administrative staff; and coordination of program volunteers and promotional activities. This position reports to the Client Intake Supervisor.

Summer Client Services Associate

Client Services Associates support the Client Services team in providing Emergency Food Assistance. This involves supporting clients while ensuring a welcoming, inclusive and accessible environment. Duties include tasks such as greeting clients and updating files, fulfilling hamper orders, facilitating pick room access and empowering clients while decreasing barriers to services. These tasks are done safely
and effectively through detailed processes while adhering to food safety guidelines. This position reports to the Client Intake Supervisor.

Summer Client Advocate

Client Advocates support the Service & Care Team by working with the Client Advocacy Coordinator to provide information, referrals and community connections to help address the underlying issues that are placing individuals in need of food bank supports. Duties include providing referrals, assisting clients with applications, appointments and systems navigation, and general administrative duties to
maintain client files. Advocacy roles require an understanding of local community resources, a familiarity with vulnerable populations with complex issues, and a commitment to providing services with upmost dignity. This position reports to the Client Advocacy Coordinator.

Christmas Hope Marketing & Communications Intern

This position reports to the Christmas Hope Committee, a group of 7 partner agencies that offer Christmas Hope annually.  Hiring for this position will take place in spring/summer 2026.

Christmas Hope is a collaboration of seven agencies that work to ensure that less-fortunate members of ourcommunity get everything they need to feel hope and joy during the Christmas season.
The Christmas Hope partnership is comprised of Interfaith Food Bank, Lethbridge Food Bank, Lethbridge Family Services Angel Tree, Volunteer Lethbridge, The Salvation Army, Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization and My City
Care Shop of Wonders. This partnership strives to make the most of resources and donations while reducingduplication of services.
