Trick or Eat

Interfaith Food Bank is excited for the Trick or Eat Food Drive that will take place in various neighborhoods and locations in Lethbridge on Halloween night, Tuesday, October 31st.

  • Community members are invited to join in with a fun Halloween activity for a great cause!
  • Grab a friend or family member, club members, or teammates, and go door-to-door collecting non-perishable food items for Interfaith Food Bank Society of Lethbridge.
  • Or, include a collection for the food bank in your Halloween activities. Hosting a Haunted House, Costume Contest or Halloween Party? Request a collection bin to add your contribution to the Trick or Eat campaign!
  • Or, contribute financially online to help Interfaith Food Bank purchase exactly what they need (scroll to the bottom of this page)

On October 31st, Interfaith Food Bank will remain open until 9:00pm to accept Trick or Eat donations. Participants will be greeted by spooky décor, music, and receive a treat bag for their donation. Take a photo of your costume front of our photo banner to be featured in a “this or that” costume contest on our social media live stories. The costume that receives the highest number of votes will win a Food Recovery/Helpful Hobbies gift basket. All participants can share their experience through their social feeds, using #IFBTrickorEat to promote the event.

Donations may be dropped off anytime during regular operating hours as well,
If going door to door, Trick or Eat’ers under the age of 18 must have permission of a parent or guardian to participate. In registering, participants take full responsibility for themselves and their groups for the event. All participants are reminded to represent the food bank in good form – keeping safety, accountability, and the dignity of food bank recipients in mind. Click Here to Register!
